We are so excited to see The Secret Life of Pets movie, which hits theaters on July 8th. My kids laugh hysterically at the trailers and I just know it’ll be a big hit with them (and me too!). We were excited to see that Mott’s® is offering free movie tickets with a purchase. As a mom, one of my highest priorities it to teach my children how to make healthy snack choices. I love that Mott’s makes snacking healthy AND fun, by incorporating some of The Secret Life of Pets movie characters onto their packaging. I never leave home without Mott’s Applesauce Pouches, which make great on the go snacks, and my daughter loves the strawberry Mott’s Applesauce Cups. While we’re waiting for the movie to premiere, we crafted up these cute dog applesauce faces that remind me of Max from the movie. This is a fun summer activity or you can make them for a birthday party or playdate and the kids can color them.
MATERIALS
Brown and Black Crayons
Scissors
Craft Glue or Hot Glue
Small Googly Eyes

INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Head to Walmart to purchase Mott’s Applesauce Cups. You might want to stock up on Mott’s products because if you purchase any 3 Mott’s Juices or Applesauces, you’ll receive a free child’s ticket for The Secret Life of Pets. Purchase any 5 Mott’s Juices or Applesauces to Receive an additional $8 movie voucher. These offers can be stacked!
Step 2: Don’t forget to redeem your The Secret Life of Pets tickets here: purchase 3 offer redemption and purchase 5 offer redemption. It’s super easy and this movie looks so cute!
Step 3: Now that you have your supplies and tickets to see The Secret Life of Pets, let’s create a fun craft to get the kiddos excited for the movie! Print out the dog face printable.
Step 4: Have your child color the template. You can stick with brown and black, to match Max from the movie, or get creative!
Step 5: Cut out the pieces. Each page will have enough pieces for 2 dog faces.
Step 6: Using craft glue or hot glue (adults only), glue the pieces onto the Mott’s Applesauce Cups, as shown in the photo below. Glue the googly eyes onto the face as well.
Step 7: Draw a mouth onto the face. Grab a spoon and enjoy some Mott’s Applesauce Cups, the strawberry flavor is our favorite!
