You can make this Halloween doormat for your home and scare all of those little trick or treaters! Hello See Vanessa Craft readers! My name is Angie and I blog at The Country Chic Cottage. I am thrilled to share this easy to make Halloween door mat with you today. Grab a few supplies and make this for your outdoor Halloween decor.
Start with a plain door mat and some red craft paint.
Use a sponge paint brush and apply the paint in a hand like shape. Use your own hand to determine proper size and dimensions. I did not dip my hand in the paint however. I only used it to get the hand approximately correct.
After painting two hands, I continued on to the feet. Again I used my own feet to judge size and placement.
I thought that the rug might have some blood splatter as well given the gory situation. Randomly splatter paint onto the rug using a paint brush.
Allow your Halloween doormat to dry completely before adding to your front door.
This one will definitely be a reminder to all of those trick or treaters of just what Halloween is all about. Add this project to your must make list for Halloween. Then pull out your Halloween door mat year after year.
