Halloween just isn’t Halloween until the popcorn balls are made! Here’s a festive pumpkin shaped popcorn ball recipe for you, using my favorite recipe with marshmallows. Make them for Halloween party guests, trick or treaters or for a school snack. You could even make these for a special Thanksgiving treat. My secret trick to forming popcorn balls is to coat an ice cream scoop with cooking spray and just scoop and plop on a piece of parchment paper. No sticky hands necessary!
INGREDIENTS
5 cups popcorn (popped)
10 ounce bag JET-PUFFED Mini Marshmallows
¼ cup unsalted butter
yellow and red food dye
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 thick pretzel sticks (cut in half)
You’ll also need: ice cream scoop, cooking spray and parchment paper

Total Time: 20 minutes
Step 1: Pop the popcorn, remove any leftover kernels and place in a large mixing bowl. You’ll need 5 cups of popped popcorn.
Step 2: Melt the Mini Marshmallows and butter in a small pan, on the stove over low heat. Continuously stir until the mixture is completely melted.
Step 3: Add 10 drops of red food dye, 15 drops of yellow food dye and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the marshmallow mixture and stir until fully mixed.
Step 4: Pour the marshmallow mixture over the popcorn and stir until the popcorn is evenly coated.
Step 5: Use an ice cream scoop, sprayed with cooking spray, to scoop up popcorn balls. Place on a piece of parchment paper and add half of a pretzel stick in the center of each popcorn ball.
Step 6: Allow the popcorn balls to set for 30 minutes and enjoy!
