Craft: 2 Ingredient Unicorn Glitter Glue Slime

Unicorn Glitter Slime Recipe for Kids

My daughter is slime and unicorn obsessed, so we combined her two loves and came up with a 2 ingredient unicorn glitter slime. If you’ve never tried Walmart’s online grocery pickup, it’s life changing. We did all of our school supply shopping online, including several bottles of glitter glue for slime making purposes, and they were delivered right to our car. There are now hundreds of back-to-school staples available for online grocery pickup shopping and more than 800 online grocery pickup locations across the country. If you forget something, Walmart has doubled the number of items available for same-day pickup, including the top 400+ back-to-school items. Walmart is also implementing TeacherLists for one click shopping. No need to stress about back to school shopping anymore and more time for slime making!

SUPPLIES

Elmer’s Classic Glitter Glue (pink, purple and aqua)
Liquid Starch (5 tablespoons per 6oz glue bottle)

TUTORIAL

Step 1: Pick up your ingredients at Walmart, while school supply shopping. If you prefer in store shopping, Walmart’ Holiday Helpers are back and helping for the first time this school year.  They are ready to assist customers to checkout, find the shortest lines and add any last-minute items they may have forgotten, so no one is unprepared when the bell rings.

Step 2: Pour one bottle of glue in a mixing bowl.

Step 3: Add 5 tablespoons of liquid starch into the glue, mixing in between each tablespoon with a fork, until your glue starts to look like slime.

Step 4: Remove the slime from the bowl, leaving behind any excess liquid, and start kneading and squishing with your hands. If it’s still too slimy, add a little more liquid starch.

Step 5: Keep kneading and squishing until the slime is smooth and stretchy.

Step 6: Repeat steps 1-4 for the remaining bottles of glue. Mix the colors together and play!

Head to Walmart for glitter glue and the rest of your school supplies! What color of slime will you be making?
