Whether you are sailing on a Halloween on the High Seas Disney Cruise or going to Mickey’s Halloween Party, this DIY Fix-It Felix Jr costume would be perfect for the occasion! We are huge Wreck-It Ralph fans around here and we’re counting down the days until Wreck-It Ralph 2 comes out in March of 2018. We’re excited that all of our favorite characters, especially Ralph and Vanellope, will be returning to the big screen. In the meantime, my little Fix-It Felix Jr and I will continue to watch the original on repeat. Stay tuned for our handmade Vanellope costume, it’s too cute for words!
SUPPLIES
blue button down shirt
blue baseball cap
jeans
tool belt
work gloves
work boots
foam hammer
gold spray paint
Fix-It-Felix patches (found on Etsy)
TUTORIAL
Step 1: Use gold spray paint to cover the foam hammer in a thin layer of paint. Allow to fully dry. Repeat until the hammer is fully covered in gold.
Step 2: Iron on the “FF” patch to the blue baseball cap. Iron on the “Felix” patch to the blue button down shirt, right above the pocket. Both patches were found on Etsy.
Step 3: Put the shirt, hat and jeans on. Add the tool belt, work gloves, work boots and don’t forget the golden hammer! Fix-It Felix Jr is ready for trick-or-treating! “I can fix it!”
