We attempt to follow the “4 gift rule” for our children during the holidays: want, need, read and wear. In the past couple years, we amended this list to include a 5th category: do. Movie tickets, zoo passes or museum vouchers all fall under “do”. This really minimizes clutter and helps us hone in on what our children will really like/play with. Their Christmas stockings are usually a free for all, but we try to still be thoughtful about what goes in them. I also prefer to pack them with quality items over quantity. Like my mom and the mothers before her, my children always get 2 things in their stockings: underwear and a toothbrush. Here are some other fun items to consider.
1. Wet Brush
2. Fingerlings Monkey
