My family recently cheered on the Sun Devils at our very first ASU football game! It’s always fun cheering on your home team and potentially the college that our kids might attend (gotta love that in state tuition perk). My favorite thing about college football is the marching band. The live music just adds that extra something special to football. I’m pretty sure that the kids just went for the football stadium food and I don’t blame them!
While we were there, we discovered that Shamrock Farms is the official protein and milk beverage of Sun Devil Athletics program. They are hosting a Protein Pushup Challenge at the 11/24 Duel in the Desert game at UofA in Tucson. For every pushup done within 30 seconds, Shamrock Farms will donate an additional serving of milk to the St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance. They have already donated up to 50,000 servings of milk this year alone (doubled from last year)!
You know I couldn’t talk about football without creating a yummy recipe to go with it! This hot bean taco dip recipe is one of my favorite and super easy football party foods. You could throw it in a crock pot for tailgating. Just leave the toppings off and spoon them on after you serve. Serve with tortilla chips and you are all set! Don’t forget to stock your cooler with Shamrock Farms Rockin’ Protein. You can find it in the refrigerated dairy case – look for the signature green top!
