Now that I’ve gone through the baby phase, twice, I always try to gift something useful at baby showers. The itty bitty clothes are cute, but babies grow so fast and most of the time onesies are just easier. My go to gift lately is a big box of Huggies Little Snugglers Plus (so soft!). To make my practical gift a little cuter, I like to make a diaper wreath and add a few baby necessities and toiletries. The wreath makes for a cute baby shower decoration and the mom-to-be can take it home with her after the party. Here’s a little mom tip, something I always tell my pregnant friends when they ask for advice, pack a small pouch with a couple diapers and wipes and leave it in your car. It will come in so handy and you’ll never run out of diapers on the go (because it happens)!

Step 2: Open a diaper and wrap it around the foam wreath form, as shown in the photo below. Tie off the end of the diaper with a piece of ribbon.
Step 3: Keep going! Continue wrapping and tying diapers around the wreath form until it is completely covered.
Step 4: Tie baby necessities (pacifiers, bibs, socks, etc.) and travel sized toiletries (lotion, bubble bath, shampoo, etc.) to the front of the wreath with ribbon.
Step 5: Add a rubber duck to the middle of the wreath, as shown in the photo below. You can use two sided tape or ribbon to stick him on the wreath.
Step 6: Attach a longer piece of ribbon to the top of the wreath for hanging purposes. Hang at the baby shower and allow the guest of honor to take the wreath home to enjoy!
