Before Logan came along we had 2 spoiled rotten cats. We swore up and down that our precious furbabies would not be forgotten and we would still give them the same amount of cuddle time that they had grown accustomed to. That was before we knew what life with a newborn (with colic) would be like. I literally never put Logan down and my cats pretty much stayed away from this tiny new person who now ruled the household. Don’t go calling ASPCA on us, they were still well loved and they have slowly grown to love tolerate Logan.

One of Logan’s favorite things to do (beside attempting to put our cats tails) is to hang out outdoors. The problem with attempting to hang out in our backyard is that Chyna, one of the formerly spoiled rotten cats, will go crazy trying to go outside with us. Like throwing herself against the door, clawing at the blinds type of crazy. It has discouraged us from even attempting to hang out in our backyard. Pre-Logan I was able to take Chyna out on a kitty leash but with a baby I just can’t juggle the two of them (see now why I don’t plan on having 2 under 2). There are wild pigs (I’m serious) in our area so I can’t just let my cat roam free (plus for all of these reasons).

So when Kritter Kommunity offered to send a Kitty Kondo to us I was excited to test it out. First of all, the cat enclosure is pink so they scored major brownie points with me right off the bat (it also comes in red for those of you who aren’t fans of pink). The kondo was super easy to put together and it was up in a matter of 10 minutes. After a couple minutes of sniffing around and attempting to escape, Chyna enjoyed being outdoors in her kondo without being eaten up by wild pigs and I enjoyed being able to take Logan outdoors. I feel like a good pet parent again.
