Have I been living under a rock? I’ve totally never heard of “teething pearls” before now. What a great idea! These “pearl” necklaces are made out of unfinished wooden beads wrapped in fabric. Babes can chew their little hearts out on these things and they are washable. These are baby friendly made, no toxic adhesives are used – just wooden beads and fabric. Yay for a necklace that is gnawing friendly!

Grits & Giggles, an Etsy shop, recently sent me a set of their tootie fruity teething pearls. Logan is working on his 6th, 7th AND 8th tooth right now, so these couldn’t have come at a more perfect time! For his first few teeth, a cold wash cloth worked just fine for teething but now he prefers something he can chew on (as proof by his chewed up crib railing…ugh). Logan loves chewing on his teething pearls so much that he wouldn’t let them go during bath time last night, so in the tub they went with him. Good thing they are washable.

The name “Gits and Giggles” is fitting for this Southern Baby Boutique! The mompreneur behind this shop has a 1 year old to inspire her creations, her product tester no doubt. Aside from teething pearls, you will find rosette hair accessories, rosette earrings, wet bags, nursing covers and pillowcase dresses in this adorable shop. I’m adding this shop to my list of Etsy favorites!
