I get to review some pretty awesome things here on my blog, but I think the product that I’m about to tell you about takes the cake. Light Affection recently sent me a night light, but not just any old night light – a personalized photo night light. They took one of Logan’s newborn photos (by Green Apple Images) and carved it, using a unique technique, into the most beautiful night light. I’m in absolute love with it. It honestly took my breath away when I plugged it in.
Maybe I love it so much because my baby is no longer a 6 pound peanut anymore, and this night light reminds me of Logan’s sweet newborn smell. Or the way he would melt into me the moment I picked him up. Or his little newborn squeaks and sounds. Most of all, it reminds me to cherish every single second with Logan because he will grow up in the blink of an eye. Geeze, I’m so mushy today but it is true!
So, how it works is you email Light Affections a high resolution photo, close-ups work best, and they will get to work on your night light. Their normal production time is up to 2 weeks but they offer expediting options if you need it quicker than that. They recommend no more than 2 subjects in the photo for the night light 2 3/4” x 2 3/4“ size. They also offer larger standing lights that are available in several different sizes. I couldn’t think of a more special gift for a mom.
