I totally credit Weleda for a stretch mark free belly during my pregnancy, thanks to their pregnancy body oil, so when they asked me to review their new pomegranate firming facial care line I was looking forward to it. At first I thought, OMG I’m now actually old enough to NEED firming facial products and doesn’t that suck. After I got over my mini quarter life crisis, I slathered on the firming products…at least I can LOOK younger!
Weleda so generously sent me their firming serum, firming day cream, firming night cream, and firming eye cream. Living in the middle of the HOT desert, also known as Arizona, I’m very picky about my facial creams. Most creams that I’ve tried don’t seem to hydrate my skin well enough in this dry climate. Weleda’s firming creams and serum do a great job at moisturizing my face and leaving it with a clean feeling. Since being pregnant with Logan, I haven’t been a huge fan of strong smelling perfumes or products. I was happy to discover that the pomegranate line has a really subtle fresh smell that isn’t totally overwhelming.
What I love most about Weleda is the fact that they use all natural and organic ingredients. No synthetic preservatives. No synthetic fragrances. No synthetic chemicals. The pomegranates they used to make these products are all organic and I found it interesting to learn that pomegranate trees can live for over 200 years. That is fitting for a tree that is a symbol of life, power, beauty and fertility. Add “bathe in pomegranate juice” to my “30 before thirty list“.
