Wait! Don’t leave, you are in the right place. I’ve changed my blog name and spiffed up the place around here. By “I”, I mean my awesome and so talented team of blog spiffer uppers. My pal Erin over at Ink Tree Press designed the See Vanessa Craft graphics that you see. Bless her for working with me, it only took a million emails back and forth before we settled on a design. As always, she’s amazing to work with and took what I wanted and made it a million times better (she designed most of the artwork in Logan’s nursery). The talented Thauna of Design by Thauna worked her magic behind the scenes, she coded everything and moved all of my old content over here. If you are thinking about making the move from blogger to wordpress, Thauna is your gal! She’s been so incredibly helpful in guiding me around the scary streets of wordpress! Thank you so much Erin and Thauna!

I’ve gotten a few comments asking me what I’m going to do with the giveaways that were started at my old blog. The plan is to resume the giveaways over here, we’ll just pick up where we left off. All old entries will still be counted, just another reason why I love the new rafflecopter widget that I’m using. The winner of the DIY LOVE Shirt is Allison & the winner of the Sleepypod Atom Pet Carrier Giveaway is Kelley! Emails have already been sent out. Future giveaway winners will be announced on the actual post within the rafflecopter widget. Some of you have given me feedback that you would prefer to see less giveaways and others have told me that they love the giveaways. So, to keep a good balance, I’ve decided to host a giveaway just once a week. As always, I’ll be super picky about the type of giveaways I host. If I don’t like it or it doesn’t pertain to my readers, you won’t see it here.

I’m excited to start this new chapter in blogging and so grateful for my readers, especially those of you who have been following me since Designs by Vanessa days (before it was even cool to blog)! I have some fun plans in the making for See Vanessa Craft (perhaps a new crafting challenge), stay tuned. On a personal note, my family received some sad news yesterday. My uncle, who has been undergoing dialysis, passed away and this will be the second child that my grandparents have to bury. Now that I am a parent, that is unfathomable. If you could lend your thoughts or prayers or whatever you believe in, I would appreciate it.
