Here’s a recipe for my fellow funfetti addicts. I originally posted this recipe over at Poofy Cheeks blog and I thought I’d also share it with you. I was searching through my crafty supplies and pantry, trying to find inspiration for a new project, and I came across an unopened box of funfetti. Everyone has a random box of funfetti in their pantry, don’t they? So, the funfetti cupcake cone was born. If you love this recipe, you will also love my funfetti cookie sandwich recipe. Materials (makes 24 cones)
18.25 oz funfetti cake mix
24 ice cream cones
Rainbow sprinkles
12oz vanilla frosting
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Prepare cake mix according to package.
Step 2: Place cones, standing up, on a cupcake sheet as shown. Fill cones with cake mix, leaving some room at the top for expansion. I recommend leaving at least half an inch to prevent overflow.
Step 3: Bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees or until you stick a skewer into the center of a cone and it comes out clean. Allow to cool.
Step 4: Frost cupcake cones and add sprinkles. Enjoy!
