Happy Valentine’s Day! In need of a last minute treat idea? These chocolate covered marshmallow bites are quick and easy, not to mention yummy! You only need 3 ingredients and your kids can help make these. Change out the sprinkle colors for different holidays or parties. You could also put lollipop sticks in the marshmallows and turn them into pops. Check out my goldfish marshmallow pop tutorial for more marshmallow fun.
Ingredients
White Chocolate Melts (found in the baking aisle of most craft stores)
Large Marshmallows
Valentine’s Day Edible Heart Sprinkles
Parchment Paper
Instructions
Step 1: Melt white chocolate melts according to package. I recommend placing chocolate in a microwavable bowl and melting in 30 second increments, mixing in between. Do not over-melt or the chocolate will be difficult to work with.
Step 2: Dip marshmallow tips into the chocolate and place on parchment paper to dry (chocolate side up). Tip: Tap excess chocolate off the marshmallow before proceeding to step 3.
Step 3: Before the chocolate dries, add heart sprinkles.
Step 4: Allow to dry and then enjoy! If you are making this a day in advance, make sure to place your marshmallow bites in an air tight container so they don’t go stale.

Yum! I love a simple treat. This would be fun to do with the nieces & nephews, too.
Kids love to be a part of creating the food gifts they give to friends or classmates, so this little project would be great fun for them.
