(20 crafty days of halloween) spooky halloween recipes

I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and their client.

Check out these spooky Halloween recipes for your next monster bash! The Halloween drink concoction I came up with is not only spooky, it’s also yummy with 7UP and Hawaiian Punch inside. The “blood” rimmed cups is just red edible gel that you can find in the baking aisle and no Halloween drink is complete without a gummy eyeball! Make up a batch of Halloween candy chocolate chip cookies to go along with your spooky drink or use up that leftover candy in these cookies. I baked miniature SNICKERS, 3 Musketeers and Milky Way right into the cookie. Soooo yummy!

Mars Halloween Candy Chocolate Chip Cookies (makes approximately 2 1/2 dozen)

Ingredients

2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup butter (room temperature)
1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
1/4 granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
30 MARS miniatures (I used SNICKERS, Milky Way & 3 Muskateers)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir the dry ingredients together (flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt, brown sugar, sugar). Mix the wet ingredients together (butter, eggs, vanilla extract). Combine dry and wet ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. Roll into 30 balls and place on a baking sheet. Place a MARS miniature candy bar in the center and bake for 10-15 minutes until cookies are golden brown. Don’t forget to print out your free printable coupons for MARS candy.

Spooky Halloween Drink with Hawaiian Punch & 7UP (1 serving)

Ingredients

9oz clear cup
red edible sparkle gel
1 scoop frozen sherbet (any flavor)
1/3 cup 7UP
Hawaiian Punch
Eyeball Gummy
Straw

Instructions

Decorate 9oz clear cup with red edible sparkle gel to look like dripping blood. Put 1/2 tablespoon on a place and coat the rim of the cup with red gel. Flip the cup right side up and add “blood” lines all the way around the cup.

Add a scoop of frozen sherbet (I used rainbow flavor) to the clear cup and slowly pour 1/3 cup 7UP on top. Top off the cup with Hawaiian Punch. Spear a gummy eyeball with a straw and add to your drink for more spooky fun! You may have to cut your straw down to size depending on the size of your cup. Enjoy!
