craft: father’s day bubble wrap card & gift

You can never go wrong with a card for Father’s Day, right? Something simple that says how much you love your dad or hubby. This little DIY card has it all–a clever pun, AND it’s interactive! Your “Pop” will love the gesture, and who doesn’t love popping some bubble wrap?

And while we’re on the “pop” theme, why not take it further with a soda “pop” and bubble wrap cozy? This is super easy, and you can modify it however you like.

Supplies you’ll need: Bubble wrap, glue dots, assorted paper, scissors, pens, and letter stickers if you like.

Step 1: Assemble your card with paper. I layered two pieces and glued them together.
Step 2: Wrap a piece of bubble wrap around the middle and secure with glue dots.
Step 3: Add letter stickers to say “POP” and then write your message.

Ta-da!

Fold another piece of bubble wrap in half and wrap around a cold drink. Secure with tape, and you have a cute little drink cozy!

Can you think of anything else to make with this fun stuff? Bubble wrap is addicting, and dads and kids will love playing with it.

Aimee has two energetic little boys, and a husband in dental school. When she’s not making PB&Js or washing scrubs, she loves to throw a pretty party, create things for her kids, and make over spaces in her home (on a starving student budget!). Catch up with her on her blog The Elephant of Surprise.
