I am a Feld Family Ambassador, and in exchange for my time and efforts in attending shows and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest discount offers, Feld Entertainment has provided me with complimentary tickets to Feld shows and opportunities to attend private Feld pre-Show events.

We are just a tad excited that a little piece of Disney is coming to the desert this weekend! Disney Live! Mikey’s Music Festival comes to the US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ on September 27-28, 2014. You can get the scoop on the show HERE, along with a couple discount codes and free activity printables for the kids. I crafted up a DIY Minnie Mouse visor hat for Amelia to wear to the show. I’ll be making Logan a matching Mickey Mouse hat, minus the bow. This would also make for a cheap and easy DIY Halloween or play costume idea. Learn how to make this foam hat below.

Materials

Black Glitter Foam Visor
Black Glitter Foam Sheet
Red Glitter Foam Sheet
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun

Instructions: Cut 2 – 3 inch circles out of black craft foam. If your foam has ad adhesive backing, stick the circle to either a piece of black felt or scrapbook paper and trim along the edges. Hot glue the black circles to the top of the visor, a half inch apart, as shown in the photo. Cut a 3 1/2 inch long bow out of the red craft foam and hot glue to the visor, on top of the black circles. Cut out a smaller red circle and hot glue to the center of the bow. Place on child and have fun!

Will you be at Disney Live! Mikey’s Music Festival ?
