I challenged 5 bloggers to a friendly craft challenge. They were each sent the same box of chevron stencils from Cutting Edge Stencils and asked to “Do Something Crafty”. They were allowed to use other materials, as long as they used at least 1 stencil in some way. You, my lovely readers, will have an opportunity to vote for your favorite blogger’s craft at the end of the challenge. The winner will receive a $50 gift card to Cutting Edge Stencils. Meet our first blogger, the fabulous Jen of Jen A. Street. Come back on September 14th to vote for Jen’s craft project!
Jen is the wife to a videographer named Dallas and a mom to two handsome little guys, Dallas and Griffin, who are only 14 months apart! After a long day at the office she tries to savor every little moment she can with her family. When bed time for the kiddos comes she enjoys planning parties, crafting, watching reality TV, and scrolling Instagram. Bio photo credit: Dream Photography Studio
In Jen’s words: When I got word that the crafting supply for Do Something Crafty 2014 was going to be stencils I knew I wanted to go big or go home. So naturally, I requested the largest size stencils available. When I received my box full of stencils from Cutting Edge Stencils, I was super impressed with the quality and I was ready to get work on my design. Although using them directly on the wall was tempting, I really wanted to create something that could be moved to another room if need be one day so the idea of a bed tent for my two toddler boys who share a room was born.
