Calling all chocolate lovers, this recipe is a must for you! I added DOVE® Fruit Cherries to my traditional fruit and nut bark recipe and it turned out AMAZING! You won’t be able to resist the mix of dark and white chocolate, topped with nuts and DOVE® Fruit Cherries. This yummy indulgence is not only better for you, but it’s also super easy to make. Don’t forget to pick up a bag of DOVE® Fruit Blueberries and Cranberries to snack on while you make this or you can throw them into the chocolate bark too. Chocolate bark is so versatile and makes for a great party treat or gift. You can also freeze it and enjoy a piece whenever you’d like.
INGREDIENTS
DOVE® Fruit Cherries
1 bag of white chocolate chips
1 bag of dark chocolate chips
1 cup dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, almonds, cashews
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Head to Walmart and pick up your ingredients. I found DOVE® Fruit Cherries towards the front of the store in a special display. I’ve also seen them in the candy aisle. Don’t forget to grab a DOVE® Fruit coupon before you shop!
Step 2: Melt the white chocolate chips, according to the package, and spread out the melted chocolate onto a piece of parchment paper on a baking tray. Place in the refrigerator and allow to harden for at least 30 minutes.
Step 3: While the chocolate is hardening, cut the DOVE® Fruit Cherries in half with a knife.
Step 4: Melt the dark chocolate chips, according to the directions on the package, and spread on top of the white chocolate. You can use a spoon or spatula.
Step 5: Before the chocolate hardens, place nut mix and DOVE® Fruit Cherries on top of the chocolate. Allow to cool in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Break hardened chocolate into smaller pieces with your hands.
Step 6: Break hardened chocolate into smaller pieces using a knife or your hands. Enjoy!
