Pot Pies and Homemade Apple Sauce

There are just certain foods that take you back to childhood and pot pies are one of them. They are a lot of work to make from scratch, but Marie Calendar’s Chicken Pot Pies are just like mom used to make. They are delicious with their golden, flaky crust and tastes homemade! I’ll let you in on a little secret, I keep my freezer stocked with Marie Calendar’s Chicken Pot Pies for unexpected holiday guests. They make holiday entertaining a breeze! And if pot pies are in the oven, homemade applesauce better be on the stove! You’ll never buy store bought applesauce again after you make homemade! There are so many things you can do with applesauce, aside from enjoying it on its own. Applesauce pancakes, applesauce muffins, applesauce bread, applesauce cookies…oh the possibilities!

INGREDIENTS

Marie Calendar’s Pot Pies

10 Granny Smith Apples

3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice

1 Cinnamon Stick

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Head to Walmart to pick up your ingredients. Check ibotta for a special offer on 10 or 16oz and family sized Marie Calendar’s Pot Pies.
