Who else is looking forward to the release of My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (rated PG-13) on March 25th?! That movie is like a parody of my marriage. My husband comes from a little, reserved family and was thrown into my large and LOUD family. Oh and my dad is a clean freak who always has a bottle of Windex® Original Glass Cleaner handy for multiple uses, like the dad in the movie. I cry from laughing every time the dad says to “just put some Windex® on it”.
My big goal this year is to get more organized and decluttered, so cleaning is easier and I have more time to spend with my loud family. One of my favorite housewarming gifts to give to friends and family members who are moving into a new home is a bucket full of cleaning supplies. That’s something that new home owners don’t necessarily think of, but inevitably need to make a trip to the store to pick up a bottle of Windex® Original Glass Cleaner in between unpacking boxes.

INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Head to Fry’s and grab your supplies. Don’t forget to grab a few bottles of Windex®! You really can use it for everything – glass, windows, sealed granite counter tops, chrome fixtures, etc. Buy any participating Windex® brand products at Kroger or Kroger family of stores. Step 2: Use a cutting machine (or cut by hand) to cut “home sweet home” out of the adhesive vinyl. Weed the excess vinyl, so you are only left with the wording that will go on the bucket.
Step 3: Carefully place a piece of transfer paper over the vinyl and remove the vinyl from the original backing, so you can easily place on the bucket.
Step 4: Place the transfer paper with the vinyl onto the front of the bucket. Rub until it adheres and carefully remove the transfer paper, making sure that each piece of vinyl sticks to the bucket.
Step 5: Place Windex® and other cleaning supplies, such as paper towels and cleaning cloths, inside the bucket.
Step 6: Tie a ribbon around the bucket and it’s ready to give as a housewarming gift!
