I’m sharing our Kidbox unboxing experience as part of a sponsored post for The Motherhood and Kidbox. #UnpackHappy
Have you heard of Kidbox yet? It’s an awesome style delivery service, specifically for children. You can order a box at anytime, without the pressure of a subscription, and it arrives with 6-7 pieces of clothing inside. The brands in the box are quality, high end brands. Some of the brands in our boxes included Lucky, 7 For All Mankind, Diesel, Limited Too and U.S. Polo Assn. Once you receive your Kidbox, you can opt to keep the entire box ($98) or keep just a few pieces and return the rest in the provided envelope. Beyond convenient!
The boxes are addressed to the child, which makes it a fun surprise for them. Kidbox so kindly sent Amelia a box and I loved the idea so much that I decided to order a box for Logan as well. I was so glad I did, because they couldn’t wait to open their Kidboxes as soon as they arrived on our doorstep! I personally love the fact that I didn’t have to haul my kids to the mall and deal with the inevitable meltdowns. If something didn’t fit or we didn’t like a particular item in the box, returns are super easy!
Amelia, my almost 3 year old mini fashionista, can be quite picky when it comes to clothing. She just knows what she likes and unless it’s a special occasion, I let her do her thing. When we are shopping for clothes, she picks out most of her outfits as long as they are within our budget. Pick your battles, right? I don’t do morning battles over clothing before I’ve had a cup of coffee lol! You can imagine my surprise when Amelia LOVED everything, aside from a pair of shorts that fit a little too snug, in her Kidbox.
My most favorite outfit in Amelia’s Kidbox were the 7 For All Mankind overalls and adorable flutter sleeve top, also by 7 For All Mankind. I just can’t even. It’s just too cute for words and perfect for our summertime adventures! I also really loved the fun geometric dress, pictured above, that came with a jean vest from Limited Too. Amelia loved the heart shirt and jean shorts by Polo, pictured below. The back of the shirt is lace and see through and totally cute! The white lace shorts and jean top by Polo are also darling, but my little model couldn’t be coerced out of the heart shirt for another photo lol!
Aside from all the cute clothes, the Kidbox also includes a surprise ball. The kids get to unravel the paper ball to get to some fun trinkets and surprises. Amelia discovered a toy ring, fake tattoo and small deck of cards in her surprise ball. Logan couldn’t wait to open his box and because we’re big YouTube fans around here, he wanted to do an unboxing video for me. Scroll down to see him open his box! My almost 6 year old is pretty laid back when it comes to clothing. As long as it’s comfortable, he’s good to go.
When you order a Kidbox, you answer a short questionnaire about your child that will help determine what kind of clothing you will get. One of the questions is about style and if your boy prefers athletic/casual, preppy/polished, modern/hip or city/cool. Based on the photo examples, Logan picked preppy/polished and I think they nailed the look pretty well in his box. Lots of colorful solids with a fabulous pair of khaki cargos by Lucky and Logan was happy. The red and white ringer tee by 7 For All Mankind was my favorite. It’s super soft and a great casual top!
Aside from one pair of shorts, we’ll be keeping everything in our Kidboxes! I was pleasantly surprised with the entire process and the quality of clothing in the boxes. I’m already planning on ordering more boxes during the hectic back to school time, saving myself (and my sanity) a trip to the mall. I already mentioned the fun surprise ball that comes in the box. The boxes also come with stickers and crayons so kids can decorate their empty boxes. I’m a huge fan of companies that encourage creativity and upcyling! Another reason to love this company is because of their partnership with K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, the largest non-profit in fashion that is dedicated to collecting and distributing new clothing to children in need.

What style did you choose for Amelia?
I’m pretty sure I went with “city cool” 🙂
