Three Cheese Baked Ziti Recipe

Calling all cheese lovers! This three cheese baked ziti dish one of my favorite recipes to gift to new moms or anyone who might need a meal. It freezes well and makes enough for two 8×8 inch baking dishes. You can keep one for dinner and give the other one away or freeze it for later. Feel free to throw in a cup of spinach or kale to get in those greens. You could even add a cup of butternut squash puree to the recipe to sneak in some veggies for the kiddos.

INGREDIENTS

1lb ziti
15 oz ricotta cheese
5 cups marinara sauce
4 cups shredded mozzarella, divided (1 cup for topping)
1 cup shredded parmesan, divided (1/2 cup for topping)
2 tbsp Italian seasoning

2 – 8×8 baking dishes

DIRECTIONS

Step 1: Boil the ziti, al dente, according to the directions on the package. Drain and set aside.
