Keep calm summer is almost here! The countdown for summertime is upon us and I don’t know a teacher out there that isn’t looking forward to a much needed break. And by break I mean lesson planning, renewing certifications and continuing education through the summer – but hopefully they can do it by the pool! The teacher survey I had our teachers fill out at the beginning of the year helped me create this teacher gift basket. I made sure to coordinate their favorite colors and candy into this summer themed gift. I broke out my Cricut Maker machine and crafted up a special “teacher life” tumbler to go in the gift basket. This gift makes me want to go jump into a pool, hope our teachers love it!
Step 1: Print out the free printable Keep Calm Summer tags on white card stock paper.
Step 2: Cut out the tags and punch a hole at the top of each tag.
Step 3: Use your Cricut Maker to create a “Teacher Life” tumbler cup. For full instructions on how to create a tumbler, see my teaching is my jam post.
Step 4: Fill the gift basket with the tumbler, adult coloring book, pool towel, sunscreen, candy and flip flops. Roll the pool towel and tie with a piece of ribbon.
Step 5: Attach a tag to the basket with a piece of ribbon or twine. Gift to your favorite teacher who is looking forward to summer!
