I once remember saying that I couldn’t wait to start feeding Logan solid food, I take that back. Why can’t babies live off off milk until they can clean themselves? Now that we’ve started solids, I spend the majority of my day cleaning hands, cleaning a messy face, cleaning floors. Rinse and repeat. Mr. Independent never ate from a spoon either, he likes touching and exploring his food on his own terms…and maybe getting some in his mouth in the process. I love that he is so interested in different foods and will try just about anything I put in front of him, but boy does it make for a messy feeding experience.

I was super excited to try the Wupzey Food Catcher that I recently received to review. It didn’t quite work on our Tripp Trapp highchair (which is more of a seat than a highchair) so I took it over to my parents house to try on their more traditional highchair. It managed to catch anything that fell out of Logan’s mouth/hands, that would have fallen on the ground. I liked that I could just scoop all of the food remnants from the chair/footrest/tray into the detachable food catcher and throw it in the garbage (or you could compost, which I’m planning on attempting soon). It sure beats using a million paper towels to clean up the mess. I do a quick rinse of the food catcher and hang back on the highchair to dry, it is dry by the next feeding time. I just wish it caught what my little guy chucks over the edge of his highchair, but that is where the Wupzey floor mat would come in handy.

Wupzey also sells bibs (which I have and love), highchair seat covers, shopping cart covers, and carseat covers. They are basically your one stop messy baby shop.
