Remember last week how I was all whiny about gaining a pound and my husband eating ice cream in front of me and the Dunkin Donut ads at my gym? I was recently reminded that this is a journey, not a race (thanks @nutriprmeredith). I need to allow myself to have a bad week, dust myself off and get back up on the treadmill without beating myself up about it. I need to have patience with myself. I’m learning a new lifestyle, not just going the quick fix route that never works.
In workout news, this week wasn’t the greatest because I’ve been sick but I did what I could. I really watched what I ate this week, stuck to my Nutrisystem meal plan and that’s what helped me drop 3 pounds. Oh and guess what Santa is bringing me this year for Christmas? A mommy bootcamp that starts at the end of December. Oh GOD, what did I get myself into?!
