For the next 22 days I will be posting about something I’m thankful for. I hope you’ll join me in remembering what this season is really about. Whether you want to blog about 22 things you’re thankful for in a single post or do 22 separate posts, it all works. Today, I’m thankful for awesome neighbors…especially the kind that will dress up like Care Bears and let me blog about it. It’s like I found my long lost craftaholic/party planning obsessed twin when I met my neighbor Nicole. Actually, we didn’t initially hit it off at all (mostly because of outside influences…long story). Once our husbands started hanging out, we became the best of friends through our weekly craft/wine nights. Aside from being my favorite person to craft with, she’s also one of the most generous and reliable people I know. I know that if I ever need something, from a banana (true story) to someone to watch my child, she’s got my back and vice versa. I’m grateful.

Great neighbors make the world go round! I’ve often missed the “community” of the neighborhood that I had when I was a child that sometimes feels lost these days. You’re so lucky to have that near you! We have some really great neighbors where we live now, too, and it really makes such a big difference to making your home part of the overall community.
