Hey football fans, I’ve got an easy tailgating recipe for you that’ll be a winner with your friends! If you like loaded baked potatoes, then you need to try this dip! I was making potato skins and whipped this mixture up to go inside when I had the brilliant idea to just leave it as a dip. You can use potato chips, pretzels or potato wedges as dippers. All are delicious (I taste tested for you)! This appetizer always goes fast in my house, so you might want to make a double batch before game day!
INGREDIENTS
8 oz Shamrock Farms Sour Cream
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
8 slices cooked bacon
1/4 cup chives
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Step 1: Mix sour cream, cheddar cheese, chives, salt and pepper together in a mixing bowl.
Step 2: Crumble bacon piece and fold into mixture, saving a few pieces for garnish.
Step 3: Top with remaining bacon pieces. Serve with chips, potato wedges or pretzels. Enjoy!
