Craft: Finding Dory Ribbon Fish Headband

February 3, 2016 By Vanessa 1 Comment

I am a Step2 Ambassador and am partnering with Step2 for the following review. I received a product in exchange for my review and honest opinion. #Step2Kids

Finding Nemo is on repeat around here and my kids are counting down the days to when Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory swims into theaters on June 17th, 2016! You should have seen their faces when Step2’s new Finding Dory Just Keep Swimming Water Table showed up on our doorstep! Jumping and screaming may have been involved. I was inspired by our new water table to make Amelia a ribbon fish headband, Finding Dory style! A girl has gotta accessorize for playtime, am I right? Keep scrolling to find out how to make one! These would also make adorable party favors for a fish themed birthday party!

I feel a little bad flaunting our water play photos, when a lot of you have been snowed in. When it’s 120 here in Arizona, feel free to flaunt your cooler temperatures right back at me lol. The water table came with lots of fun accessories that held my toddlers attention (this is saying a lot). Plenty of pouring, scooping and creative play! Amelia loved the strainer, where she could lift it over the table and make it “rain”. The water table also came with several characters from Finding Dory, which my daughter also plays with in the bathtub. As soon as she saw Nemo, she gave him kisses and told him that she’d help him find his papa. Oh my heart!
