I received an all expense paid trip from Disney to attend the #JungleBookEvent. The opinions expressed here are my own and I received no monetary compensation. #WalkThePrank

While I was in L.A. for the #JungleBookEvent, I had the opportunity to visit the set of Walk The Prank at Paramount Pictures and screen an episode. Walk The Prank is a brand new television show that debuted on April Fool’s Day. Pretty fitting for a show that’s all about the pranks. Walk The Prank blends scripted comedy with real hidden-camera pranks and follows a team of practical jokesters. My favorite prank from the episode that we screened was the bug prank, where the school nurse is performing lice checks and finds a bunch of bugs under a baseball cap of one of the actors. That nurse was out of there and I don’t blame him lol! You can catch it on Wednesdays at 8:30/7:30c on Disney XD!

The show is hilarious and had me laughing out loud. In my opinion, it’s a fun show for middle schoolers and can be enjoyed by younger children, but use your own parental discretion. While we were on set, they sat us in a nearby room with monitors so we could watch the filming. The real moms of the actors were also in the room and I enjoyed briefly chatting with them. I learned that the children attended school on set and how the kids have become a family away from home. One child had recently broken her arm and the entire cast visited her at the hospital. It must be such a unique bubble for these children to be living in, but they are so talented at what they do and genuinely appear to enjoy it!

We also got to take a few photos in Uncle Will’s joke shop, which must have been so much fun for the set designers to decorate. If I had to work a “real” job, I’d want to be a set designer! Each room on set was separated by a thin wooden wall that didn’t reach up to the ceiling and lit up with studio lights. There were several classroom setups that looked so real and I chuckled at seeing the “do not eat props” sign on the lunches in the hallway. I’ve had to put a few “do not eat props” signs of my own on certain food items in my refrigerator for blog posts.
