If you’ve never tasted a Italian cream soda, run to the store and pick up the ingredients right now! They are ridiculously easy to make and so delicious. My husband introduced me to Italian sodas when we were dating and living in Austin, TX. The movie theater we frequented also served Italian sodas and other specialty drinks. We spent many Friday nights there and I still miss that little theater. Our Friday nights currently look a little different with two children, but we still have our movie night tradition. Instead of a movie theater with fancy drinks, we pile on the sofa and watch our Red Box movie. I wouldn’t trade it for a million Italian sodas. As I passed by the Torani syrups at World Market, I thought it was time to introduce our kids to this special treat and bring back our Friday night tradition. Everyone loved it! You can use any flavor of syrup with this recipe. I prefer Strawberry and my husband is coconut kind of guy. Enjoy!
