Mother’s Day is right around the corner and I have the perfect lavender sugar scrub recipe that mom will love! This 4 ingredient recipe is easy enough for kids to help with. Just measure and mix. The lavender scent is one of my favorites, it’s very relaxing and calming. This sugar scrub will leave mom’s hands feeling silky smooth. Stop by Walmart for a Mother’s Day card and gift wrapping from American Greetings. I had such a difficult time deciding which bag and card to get because they were all so cute!
I can’t wait to gift my own mom this lavender sugar scrub. She was always an amazing mother, but somehow her love has tripled as a grandmother. I have a new founded appreciation for her now that I’m a mother and recognize the sacrifices she made for me. This motherhood thing is tough sometimes, but I’m grateful for an incredible role model. This sugar scrub recipe would also make a great Teacher Appreciation gift or make a batch for yourself, I always like to keep a jar by my sink.
SUPPLIES
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 1/2 cup white sugar
20 drops lavender essential oil
2 tablespoons lavender buds
mason jar (pint size)

INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Head to Walmart to pick up ingredients for the lavender sugar scrub. Don’t forget to grab an American Greetings greeting card for mom, gift packaging and tissue paper while you are there! Purchase any 2 cards and earn $2.00 with Ibotta.
Step 2: Combine 1/2 cup coconut oil (melted) and 1 1/2 cup white sugar together in a large mixing bowl.
Step 3: Add 20 drops of lavender essential oil and 2 tablespoons of lavender buds. Mix until well combined.
Step 4: Place sugar scrub mix into the pint sized mason jar.
Step 5: Cover the mason jar with a lid and place inside of an American Greetings gift bag with tissue paper and a special card for mom.
