DIY SUCCULENT PLANTER SUPPLIES

Only a few simple craft supplies are needed to make a DIY succulent planter.

  • Kleenex® Tissue Box
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Twine
  • Floral Foam
  • Spanish Floral Moss (optional)
  • Faux Succulents

HOW TO MAKE A DIY SUCCULENT PLANTER

Use scissors to cut the top off of an empty Kleenex® tissue box.

Use hot glue to attach twine to the box. Wrap the twine around the box, starting from the bottom. You can use any size or color of twine that catches your eye. I used a chunkier, natural colored twine and loved the outcome.

Fill the box with floral foam. You might have to trim the floral foam down to size to fit inside of a box using a knife (adults only).

Arrange the faux succulents in the box, sticking the stems into the floral foam. Display the upcycled succulent planter on a coffee table or dining room table.

DIY CRAFT CADDY SUPPLIES

I used the following supplies to create an upcycled craft caddy to hold all of our regularly used art supplies.

  • Kleenex® Tissue Box
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Twine
  • 2 Small Mason Jars

HOW TO MAKE A DIY CRAFT CADDY

Follow the directions above to wrap the twine around the box. Once the twine is attached, place 2 small mason jars inside of the box.

Place markers, colored pencils, scissors, glue and other craft supplies inside the box, using the mason jars to separate and hold the supplies.

Display the craft caddy on a desk or in a convenient location for easy crafting!
