My 4 year old always says that she wants “hair like Rapunzel from Tangled”, but she hates when I brush it so we joke “tangled hair don’t care”. We’re heading to Disney World next week for #DisneySMMC (squeee!) and I couldn’t wait to make my daughter a shirt with our favorite inside joke. I included the image below, so you can download and create a shirt for yourself. I also wrote down step by step instructions on how to upload your own JPG into Cricut Design Studio. It’s super easy and once you know how to do it, you can create anything you want! Best Day Ever!

TUTORIAL
Step 1: Download and save the Tangled Hair Don’t Care JPG to your computer.
Step 2: Upload the JPG file into Cricut Design Space as a complex image.
Step 3: Click on the areas of the image you want to remove in the “select & erase” window. Don’t forget to click on the white spaces within the letters. Click continue.
Step 4: Save the image as a “cut image”.
Step 5: Insert the image into the Cricut Design Studio and adjust the height/width depending on how large your shirt is. I made my image 7 inches wide for an XS youth shirt.
Step 6: Cut your vinyl to fit on your cutting mat. Attach the vinyl to the mat, I used a 12×12 standard grip mat. HTV vinyl goes shiny side down. Set the Cricut machine’s dial to “iron on” and make sure to reverse the image by clicking on “mirror” for iron on before cutting. Make your cut.
Step 7: Weed your image, removing any excess vinyl that you won’t be ironing on to the shirt. Use the Cricut EasyPress to apply the vinyl to the shirt. Read the EasyPress instructions for heat settings.
