that 2 years goes by in the blink of an eye
that I should have sought help for PPA/PPD from the very beginning
to just do what works
to snuggle, cuddle, hug and kiss as much as my toddler will let me
that twinkle twinkle is the best song ever, especially when a 2 year old sings it
selflessness
that a cardboard box equals hours of fun
to chill out and go with the flow a bit more
that me time is necessary and makes me a better mama
the meaning of patience
that swim lessons are more work for the parents
that as much as I attempt to raise my child in a gender-neutral environment, he’s all boy
that toilet paper rolls make for great pirate telescopes
to allow for time to say “hi” and “bye” to everyone we pass in the grocery store
the lines to Toy Story 1, 2 and 3
to make up sounds for giraffes, zebras and hippos
the meaning of strong-willed
the bond between a boy and his pets is the greatest
that my 2 year old understands way more than we think
that it just keeps getting better
how fun it is to relive my childhood through my little
Happy 2nd Birthday Logan! Mama loves you to the moon and back.

See what else I’ve learned in the past 2 years.
