My daughter decided on jumping frog valentines this year for her classmates, but wanted to do something a little different for her dance class friends. We spotted the cutest ice cream lip balms in the party favor section at Target and scooped them up (pun intended). I crafted up a simple “you make my heart melt” card to attach to them and she can’t wait to pass them out at dance! If you can’t find the ice cream lip balms we used, these ice cream sundae lip glosses or popsicle lip balms would work! Stay tuned to see what I have up my sleeve for my son’s Valentine’s Day cards this year. Last year we did glow sticks.
SUPPLIES
Ice Cream Lip Balms
White Card Stock
“You Make My Heart Melt” Printable
Scissors
Hole Punch
Twine
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Print the “You Make My Heart Melt” printable cards on white card stock paper.
Step 2: Cut around the card lines and punch a hole near the “Y” in “You”.
Step 3: Attach an ice cream lip balm to the card with twine.
Step 4: Hand out to friends who make your “heart melt”!
